Global Social Leaders– Annual Contest typically. Launches in September; Finishes in May.

National Geographic Slingshot Challenge– Annual video format challenge to empower youth to take action towards one of the UN Sustainable Goals. Usually occurs in January.

Khan Academy Breakthrough Challenge– Annual video contest with students sharing an explainer video for a difficult concept related to science, math and beyond. Usually occurs in June.

World of 8 Billion– Annual Video Creation Contest connected to climate change, gender equality and/or waste. Already launched. Video due by 22Feb23. Available to all learners grades 6-12 (US levels or equivalents.)

PACTFul– Jacob’s Institute sponsored contest- Usually annual. This year’s information has not been posted.

Mogford Writing Contest– creative writing contest in Oxford, UK. Must be 18 years and older. Usually launches in the fall.
